Alphatron and Astron
Alphatron Marine Belgium BVBA has announced that it will continue with the responsibilities of Astron NV. With immediate effect, Astron NV will cease all sales and service activities of maritime navigation and communication equipment due to the restructuring of its organisation.
This includes the official Belgium distributorship of Japan Radio Company (JRC) which is being transferred from Astron to Alphatron Marine Belgium from the start of 2015.
“In order to safeguard the continuation of the Belgian market, a number of employees of Astron will be employed by Alphatron Marine Belgium” commented Mr Jan Van Dooren, CEO Astron NV.
Luuk Vroombout, founder and CEO of Alphatron Marine said “Astron and Alphatron Marine in Belgium have worked for many years alongside each other and now have a unique chance for a refined and combined approach to bring our innovative solution for complete bridge solutions closer to you than ever before”.
