Larger thrusters on show
As a leading marine propulsion specialist, ZF Services UK will be shining the spotlight on its diverse range of marine products and services at Seawork International 2016 taking place between 14th and 16th June.
With over 30 years’ experience producing components and parts for the marine sector, the exhibition will see Germany-headquartered ZF, for the first time, showcase its diverse selection of marine thrusters and the company will display a one metre thruster unit for visitors to view. ZF’s catalogue of thrusters, which have a power range of up to 2150kW, also include well-mounted, contra-rotating and deck-mounted Azimuth thrusters, fixed pitch and controllable fixed tunnel thrusters, and shallow draught thrusters.
In addition to providing an overview of ZF’s diverse selection of products, the technical team will also be on hand to talk through ZF’s leading aftersales service, which includes scheduled and preventative maintenance and overhaul; spare parts and units; transmission retrofit; and repair. Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak to members of the marine team, who can offer advice and guidance, and recommend appropriate products or services for their unique application.
Paul Dean, Business Manager for Marine at ZF Services UK, explained: “We’re pleased to once again be exhibiting at Seawork, and presenting our products and services to individuals who share our enthusiasm for the marine industry. As the industry’s leading show, Seawork presents the perfect opportunity to network with new and existing customers, and share advice and ideas.
“We’re constantly looking for new ways to enhance our services, and technology is steering innovation in the sector at the moment. We pride ourselves in keeping up-to-date with the industry’s changing trends and our research and development, and subsequent product range reflects this. Seawork will provide a good opportunity to talk to marine professionals, and find out how we can enhance our products and strengthen our support.
“We’re proud of our team of technical engineers and with our dedicated marine workshop centrally located in Nottingham, we’re able to effectively service our clients through our first-class products and parts, and with our unrivalled aftersales service.
