Former ​Ørsted CEO takes seat as chair of MacArtney board

Former Ørsted CEO Mads Nipper has been appointed chairman of the board at MacArtney Underwater Technology.

Nipper, who was ousted from Ørsted in February just before the energy giant released its annual report, stepped down amid ‘the increasingly challenging situation in the offshore wind industry’, according to board chair Lene Skole.
