Barrus makes the most of Seawork
Over 16 years of exhibiting at Seawork, the event has become an increasingly important showcase for E P Barrus Ltd, which says it enables it to demonstrate its range of commercial marine engines and expertise in custom-engine building.
“Seawork 2013 was excellent for us and we made some useful new contacts, particularly with overseas visitors. Seawork is the only commercial exhibition which provides us with the opportunity to work in partnership with our OEM boat builders, enabling us to demonstrate our engine applications in vessels on the pontoons,” comments Mark Coleman, General Manager, Special Products and R&D Divisions.
Barrus’s now familiar position on the Quayside, overlooking the pontoons, works very well and provides a great location to demonstrate products. The patented 30hp, four-stroke ‘Inversion Protected’ engine was on display for the first time at Seawork 2013 and a new extended range of Shire workboat engines, designed specifically for the commercial workboat market, was also very well received.
Seawork 2014 will see a continuation of the same successful formula by Barrus.
