Beta Marine will travel from Gloucester UK to exhibit its range of inboard diesel engines from 10 to 150hp at Seawork 2012.

The range of heat exchanger, keel or radiator cooled engines are non-turbo, heavy duty units suitable for leisure boats, workboats and fishing vessels.

Also on display will be Beta Marine’s range of marine auxiliary generator sets up to 1,000 kVA. Beta Marine has developed a reputation for providing quiet, smooth running marine diesels to suit a wide range of applications at competitive prices. The company was founded by four marine engineers with extensive experience in the design, manufacture and marketing of marine diesels. The company aims to provide bespoke propulsion engines and marine generating sets to individual customer requirements.

Beta Marine is celebrating 25 years of trading this month, during which time they have supplied over 25,000 diesels, developed a network of over 50 international distributors, and grown to a workforce of 38 skilled staff at their modern manufacturing facility in Gloucestershire. The company has announced a record turnover for the last financial year despite the poor economic climate.

Andrew Growcoot, Beta Marine CEO commented, “We have a dedicated and loyal team at Beta Marine, many of whom have been with us since we started in the 80s. We are all delighted to be able to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and are looking to the future with confidence following our record year.”

The stand at Seawork 2012 will be manned by Radus Lungu from the sales team and Neil Edwards from service and warranty.
