C Data product launch at Seawork

A new set of software solutions designed to streamline the working procedures of seagoing and shore based personnel are to be launched at this year’s Seawork exhibition.

The B@Sea product suite can be used onboard and on shore

The C Data Services B@Sea product suite consists of three applications – BCalm crisis response and emergency planning, BMaintained maintenance, repairs and refit management and BSecure high threat area security planning.

“The B@Sea suite was borne from our experiences in the marine industry and helps to improve efficiency in a number of key procedures faced by seagoing officers and ship superintendents. It is based on a simple per ship per month licensing model, is set up remotely, and runs on any web browser,” said Mike Robinson, marine products manager, C Data Services.

The web based solutions are designed for all internet enabled devices, allowing them to be accessed from anywhere in the world.

The solutions also have an offline capability which provides continuity for periods when a vessel may be out of range, automatically synchronising with shore side as soon as the internet is accessible again.

C Data also has two more products in the development stage – BCrewed crew planning and management and BRelated, evaluating the ship-shore relationship.
