CEDA Dredging Days 2015

The Central Dredging Association (CEDA) has explained the areas for focus of papers to be given at CEDA Dredging Days 2015.

CEDA Dredging Days 2015 will cover best practice relating to maintenance and capital dredging in ports and access channels

The event will run concurrently with Europort 2015 on 5-6 November 2015 at Ahoy Rotterdam. The CEDA Dredging Days 2015 conference and exhibition will address innovative dredging solutions for ports and CEDA invited abstract submissions on the theme from experts in the field.

Dredging and the management of sediments are key elements in the sustainable development and operation of most ports. There is a growing call for them to become greener, more environmentally aware, and more responsible with regard to operations.

The need for more sustainable processes has led to CEDA Dredging Days 2015 focusing on innovative dredging solutions for ports, with presentations covering the latest technical and scientific developments. In addition, CEDA Dredging Days 2015 will cover best practice relating to maintenance and capital dredging in ports and access channels, and the management of sediments including the sediment balance of the broader port environment.

CEDA Dredging Days 2015 will include a special Academic Session designed to give young dredging professionals the opportunity to present papers to the conference on any dredging subject.
