Baltic offshore wind drives subsea cable award

Royal Boskalis B.V. has secured a sizable contract for subsea cable installation at Germany’s 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore windfarm.

The Dutch contractor, in consortium with TKF Subsea Solutions, will supply and install 140 kilometres of 66 kV inter-array cables in the German Baltic Sea, supporting offshore renewables expansion.
