Birds fly in the face of offshore wind farm
An offshore wind project earmarked for Denmark has been scrapped because it falls foul of a bird sanctuary in the same area.
The 200m limit on heights for wind turbines will not be high enough for European Energy’s turbines so it has pulled out, leader Andreas Lauridsen said.
