Consortium says offshore charging is proven
Leading the charge: Vard and a healthy number of stakeholders say their offshore charging is an important step towards operating offshore on battery power alone.
Charging tests have been done in port with high-voltage charging of the ship`s batteries and testing has also been done of the offshore connection solution.
