No bids received in German offshore wind auction

Failed

Germany’s second offshore wind auction for 2025 has failed to attract a single bid.

It is the second auction this year, with the first, in June, receiving just two bids. The winner in that auction, TotalEnergies, will have to pay €180 million for the right to build the wind farm, which will be installed over an area of 146km2 and have a generation capacity of 1.2GW.
