Southeast Asia earmarks first tidal energy plant

Plans are afoot to build Southeast Asia’s first ever tidal power generation plant through a contract signed between Energies PH, Inc and the UK’s Inyanga Marine Energy Group.

The contract for engineering, procurement and construction will see Inyanga use its HydroWing tidal stream technology in the 1MW project, which is expected to deploy in late 2025.
