UK refuses to reveal offshore wind bids made in latest round

The UK government has refused to say if any bids were received in the latest allocation round for offshore wind.

The round closed on April 19 after the budget was increased by four times over last year, but the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has remained tight-lipped as to whether this year’s was more successful than last year’s zero bid round.
