WindEurope slashes offshore wind target for 2030
Figures released by the WindEurope trade body have shown big reductions in European offshore wind installations, connections and awards.
Just three projects were connected to grids in the first half of 2025, just one project was given the go-ahead and a 2022 target of 158GW has been halved to 80GW.
