A benchmark new GMDSS safety display terminal
Intellian Technologies Inc and Iridium Communications Inc are developing a new Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) safety display terminal.
Planned for launch in Q4 2024, the GMDSS safety terminal will utilise the Iridium network which is supported by a unique constellation of 66 cross-linked L-band satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
