DAME award kudos for Garmin MOB solution
Garmin’s recently launched OnBoard Man Overboard (MOB) and engine cutoff solution has won the Safety & Security Aboard category in the 2025 DAME Design Awards.
The solution uses wireless detection which allows the captain and crew to move around the vessel ‘with peace of mind’ without the impediment of a MOB solution with a physical tether.
