Tototheo Global has expanded its partnership with SES to boost marine communication and navigation through enhanced, high-speed satellite connectivity

The four-year agreement enables Tototheo Global to leverage SES’s advanced GEO high-throughput satellite (HTS) infrastructure and Commercial Maritime Service to deliver scalable VSAT solutions to its global maritime customers.

“At Tototheo Global, our mission is to deliver reliable, adaptable and future-proof connectivity,” said co-CEO Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou.

“This collaboration enables us to further enhance our global service offering, giving our customers even greater reach, performance and flexibility.”

Real-time data

Tototheo’s integration of SES’s satellite communications network into its proprietary TM Flex Suite allows for dynamic traffic management, hybrid connectivity and link bonding, crucial for real-time marine navigation and vessel monitoring.

Fleet operators will benefit from flexible service models, improved bandwidth allocation and global high-availability connectivity.

SES’s global head of enterprise & cloud, Nadine Allen, added: “SES’s Commercial Maritime service combines GEO HTS and widebeam satellites with scalable capacity, delivering reliable service across major shipping routes.”

The renewed partnership reflects Tototheo’s strategic focus on hybrid satellite communications across GEO, MEO and LEO constellations.
