The 27th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Icebreaker tunnel thruster prioritises efficiency
Finnish propulsion specialist Steerprop and Seaspan Shipyards have expanded their collaboration on propulsion technology for Canada’s next-generation polar icebreaker, prioritising efficiency, safety and Arctic readiness.
Initially selected in late 2023 to supply two advanced ice-classed bow thrusters for the new flagship vessel, Steerprop will now also support the integration of the tunnel thruster into the vessel.
