The 27th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Kongsberg contracted for Kuwait coast guard upgrade
Kongsberg Maritime will upgrade the waterjet propulsion systems for the Kuwait coast guard’s vessels in a move that Kongsberg is hoping will unlock opportunities in defence.
Thirteen vessels will have the Kongsberg Kamewa waterjets installed to replace third-party systems on 10 vessels and retrofit three others – with 13 shipsets of S63 waterjets, control systems and power packs going in early next year.
