MAIB is investigating the risks posed by flexible hoses after fire broke out on a cargo ship

The Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) has issued a warning about the risks posed by flexible hoses after a fire on board a RoRo cargo ship.

The MV Finnmaster was departing Hull in the UK on 19 September 2021 when fire broke out in the auxiliary engine room.
