New factory set up to ‘seriously disrupt’ marine battery market

The owner of a new automated factory set up in China aims to seriously disrupt the marine battery market, which is crying out for safer, cheaper batteries, he says.

AYK Energy was set up in 2018 and has developed what it says are the best quality batteries for marine applications - without the fire risk some fear lithium batteries contain.
