Powering the Middle East’s marine engineering market
Yanmar has reinforced its commitment to the Middle East by launching Yanmar Arabia in Riyadh, bringing advanced engineering solutions, vessel propulsion and marine equipment expertise closer to regional manufacturers.
The new office will provide tailored powertrain solutions and high-efficiency diesel engines for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), strengthening local manufacturing capabilities.
“We are not just here for commercial purposes. Our mission is to provide world-class powertrain solutions that drive local innovation,” said Mr Samir Laoukili, CEO of Yanmar Arabia.
“By working closely with OEMs based in the Middle East, we aim to contribute to the ‘Made in UAE’ initiative, empowering manufacturers with reliable and sustainable engine solutions.”
Supporting growth
As the Middle East accelerates its industrial transformation through localisation efforts like Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” initiative, the region’s industrial sector is expanding rapidly, with Saudi Arabia playing a central role in the transformation.
“Our focus is on delivering application engineering expertise and strengthening our partnerships with local manufacturers,” said Raheel Aziz, general manager of Yanmar Arabia.
“Through Yanmar Arabia, we will continue to support the Middle East’s industrial evolution with high-performance, long-lasting engine solutions.”
