Seawork exhibitors Hefring Marine and Ecomar Propulsion have struck a partnership that they say will improve safety and operational efficiency at sea.

The deal will see Hefring’s IMAS monitoring system installed aboard Ecomar’s hydrogen battery vessel, the MV Dirac, the first time the technology has been deployed on an electric vessel. Both companies are positioning the move as part of the maritime industry’s broader shift toward sustainable propulsion.
