VIDEO: Spain taps AI to reduce whale strikes at sea
Maritime artificial intelligence specialist SEA.AI will supply seven of its monitoring systems to a Spanish government department specifically to monitor marine animals such as whales.
The systems are intended to improve the detection and monitoring of marine mammals, particularly whales, while also supporting wider assessment of advanced sensing technologies in operational conditions.
