Fender Innovations secures RNLI contract
Fender Innovations announce at Seawork that the company is the official fender supplier for the new RNLI Shannon Class lifeboats. Fender Innovations BV, based in Den Helder, Holland, brings an innovative approach to the fender market with extreme lightweight fenders with excellent wear and tear characteristics.
All the new fenders for the Shannon Class lifeboats will be designed and produced by Fender Innovations BV.
Fender Innovations won an Innovations Showcase award at Seawork in 2012 for its revolutionary fender system. Since then, the company has grown from strength-to-strength and is now delivering its fender systems to more than 18 different countries, for use on patrol boats, police boats, superyacht tenders, workboats and research vessels.
Sylvia Ruizendaal, PR Manager, Fender Innovations, explained, “We have won many new contracts with other exhibitors we have met at Seawork, such as C-Truk and ASV Global. Also, as we have told our clients about our successes at Seawork , many are now exhibiting at Seawork as well, such as Armstrong Marine.”
