Hydromagic upgrade
Dutch hydrographic software specialists Eye4Software of Delden have upgraded their Hydromagic package for displaying position, calculating volumes and recording soundings in shallow and inland waters, including rivers and reservoirs.
The company says its new 6.0 version provides for 3D mapping and can work with almost any GPS or RTK receiver and echosounder. It can also be used on any desktop, laptop or notebook computer running MS Windows.
The software supports multiple nautical chart and GIS formats and is available with a database containing over 5,000 pre-defined local and global map datums and grids, allowing for use almost anywhere in the world.
