ICMS Maritime Professional of the Year Award shortlist unveiled
The two shortlisted nominations for the ICMS Maritime Professional of the Year 2014 Award at Seawork International this year are Luke Webster of Germanys PM Shipping and Jeremy Dale of SeaSafe Systems.
Based in Germany, Luke Webster is project manager for global logistics firm PM Shipping (Stand Q0). He was nominated by Patricia Prado of Blue Sky Brokers.
Patricia said: “I have collaborated with Luke Webster for the past four years and he has proved to be a very efficient, hard working and resourceful person. He has helped me to develop my business further by providing excellent service and competitive prices for my Transport requests.”
” As a result I have shipped many workboats with PM Shipping to destinations all over the world and Luke has handled each shipment in a professional and efficient way to ensure that my customers are satisfied and will want to work with me again,” she added.
The second professional shortlisted is Jeremy Dale, managing director of Isle of Wight-based marine safety provider, SeasSafe Systems (Stand A215), who was nominated for this award by colleague Wendy Willmott.
Wendy said: “I nominate Jeremy because I am proud to say I work for SeaSafe with him at the helm and dedicated to the safety and well-being of commercial and recreational seafarers around the world, having saved many people’s lives with the SeaSafe range of products.”
“An enthusiastic individual always willing to rise to a challenge on how best to solve a safety problem by coming up with an innovative solution, manufacturing it and seeing it through to successful completion. No task is ever too big or small for him and always undertaken with a sense of urgency, but never compromising on safety,” she added.
