£12m shipbuilding academy earmarked for Scotland

A £12 million (€14 million) shipbuilding academy is to be built in Glasgow, Scotland in an effort to help secure the shipbuilding sector in Scotland ‘for generations to come’.

The academy, which will provide training for 4,500 people, should be completed in the second half of this year.
