AIS buys Norwegian subsea plastics innovator

Buoyancy system, cable protection and insulation firm AIS has signalled its intention to expand into energy developments further north with the purchase of Norwegian innovator Ovun.

AIS, which incorporates Seawork exhibitor AIS Manuplas as well as Bardot and CRP Subsea, says the purchase of Ovun is part of its ‘strategic growth plans’ with Ovun’s 30+ years of experience in buoyancy and subsea engineering.
