Boston delivers blow to Trump’s offshore wind ban

A Boston District Court judge has delivered a blow to the Trump administration’s indefinite pause on wind energy permitting, in a latest blow to the president’s determination to shut down the sector.

It is at least the second time that a stop work order has been overturned in court, with Danish energy firm Ørsted in September seeking a preliminary injunction that was granted to allow Revolution Wind to go ahead.
