Crew negligence caused Swedish ferry grounding

The Swedish Coast Guard said two crew had been fined for actions that resulted in the grounding of a ferry off the coast of Sweden last weekend.

The grounding caused damage to the fuel tanks on the Marco Polo, which then spilled oil that is still being cleaned up.
