Shore-Link will provide a mobile port power solution for cruise ships at berth at the Danish port of Aarhus.

The Danish port of Aarhus will be supplied with a Shore-Link portable power system for cruise liners, the CMS Cruiser, to deliver power to cruise vessels when at berth.

Shore connection, or cold ironing, is becoming more widely adopted and in Californian ports is mandatory. In Europe, all ports will be required to have cold ironing provision by the end of 2025, according to the platform Science Direct.

Estonia-based Shore-Link is working with Danish integrator PowerCon to install the system, which should be in operation in spring 2023.
