Europort opens with circular themes and parallels with ‘Roaring Twenties’

 Europort opened on Tuesday at the grand Rotterdam Ahoy comparing today’s world with the ‘Roaring Twenties’ which, while they offered ‘a sea of opportunities’, the argument went, were also a time of turbulence and renewal.

Sustainability is experiencing something of its own transition this year, with a lot of emphasis on ‘circularity’ – indeed, a ‘Circular Route’ to showcase 14 companies doing what they can to re-use, expand or simply make things last longer has been organised this year for the first time.
