Rescuers save oil tanker from crashing into wind turbine

Disaster was averted when rescuers stepped in to save a rudderless oil tanker from crashing into a North Sea wind turbine during a weekend storm.

With the tanker unable to drop anchor, rescuers had to battle 5m wave heights to establish a towing connection with the vessel, which was drifting towards a Vattenfall wind farm.
