UK Harbour Masters vote in new captain
Forth Ports chief harbour master Captain Alan McPherson has been voted in as the new president of one the world’s largest and oldest harbour master associations.
Before his decade with Forth Ports, McPherson, who takes over from Captain Paul Brooks, has also worked at the Port of Tyne Authority in Newcastle.
