Swedish safety products provider snaps up Turkish firm

Based in Istanbul, Ares Marine is also located in Tuzla, the heart of Turkey’s shipbuilding industry. Its products include tank level gauges, cargo monitoring systems, valve remote controls, fuel management systems and fire detection systems.

Consilium Safety Group has mileage – founded in 1912, the Gothenburg company now has 55 offices around the world and is owned by Antin Infrastructure Partners.

Its products serve several sectors, including building, energy, rolling stock, transport and industrial as well as marine, and on July 1 Patrik Andersson was appointed new chairman.
