EU injects millions into green transport

The European Commission has awarded over €600 million to 70 projects advancing Europe’s transport decarbonisation and accelerating the energy transition.

Funding, delivered through the Connecting Europe Facility, targets major upgrades to port infrastructure, airports and road networks, with a strong focus on port decarbonisation, port electrification and the deployment of alternative fuels to cut emissions across the trans-European transport network.
