The 25th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Speed@Seawork on Monday 10 June in Cowes offers a sector specific event that showcases fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and Search & Rescue. Onshore substation works begin for Scottish OSW farm
The ground is broken for the onshore substation that will take power from one of Scotland’s largest offshore wind farms.
In total, 72 turbines with a generating capacity of 1.1GW will be installed 15km from the East Lothian coast. They will need 85km of export cables to connect them to the onshore substation.
