Plans submitted for €150 million port expansion

CLH and the Algeciras Port Authority will work together for the environment

The container terminal at the Port of Algeciras has officially submitted plans for a 160,000m2 expansion to its current 300,000m2, thus increasing its footprint by almost 50%.

The Isla Verde Exterior, once completed, will increase the terminal’s handling capacity by half a million TEUs to reach 2.1 million by 2028. A potential second phase will enable 700,000 more TEUs.
