AtZ Marine Technologies brought its specialised expertise in marine engineering equipment for commercial vessels to Seawork this year.
The company attended the exhibition to promote its services to operators within the workboat and commercial sectors and offer attendees solutions to a vast range of technical problems facing the industry.
AtZ was recently asked to investigate a series of sterntube seal failures on two new military patrol vessels, recommending a design change which was then adopted by the entire fleet. Both vessels have since been sailing for a further 12 months without incident.
The offshore market has also benefited from its experience when the company was asked to investigate a series of bow thruster leakages, resulting in the recommendation of an ABCON oil additive solution that quickly and efficiently resolved the problem.
This vast range of expertise enables AtZ to not only provide rapid response to emergency repairs, but also offer customers planned maintenance, strategic stock holding, engineering project management and complete end to end solution sales.
Working as the sole UK agent for Deckma Hamburg, the oil-in-water monitoring specialist, the organisation has also expanded its portfolio by becoming the sole UK agents for AEGIR-Marine and ACM Bearings, along with new products such as ABCON, Wavestream and Tribomar.
AtZ provides equipment sales, support and consultation services to the marine, power generation and petrochemical sectors and it’s also an established supply, service and calibration provider of propeller shaft lines, seals and bearings, bilge water discharges oil in water monitoring and filtration.
