LeBus System
The LeBus system is a method of controlling the spooling of wire rope on a winch drum so that there is no practical limit to the number of layers that can be spooled with safety, irrespective of the severity of load and speed conditions or the sizes of rope and drum.

LeBus will design to provide the most practical and cost effective solution to any spooling problem.

Machining a LeBus Grooved Sleeve
The LeBus System can be applied in various ways. By the installation of a Split Sleeve onto a Plain Drum, by the use of a Grooved Barrel to which the client adds Flanges or by the supply of a complete Fabricated and Machined Drum to project requirements.

LeBus also design and produce a variety of Helical Grooved and Plain Drums for a wide range of applications. To complete the Spooling Service, LeBus can also supply Diamond Screw Type Spooling Gear Assemblies, Sheaves, Fairleads and associated Winch Components.

Our range of products also includes a variety of Marine Research Winches custom built to clients requirements, to operate in the field of Oceanographic and Hydrographic Survey for Coring, Dredging, Dunking, Towing and Associated Duties.
