Sweden’s MMT UK subsidiary in Banbury, Oxford reports two current major surveys in the Shetlands on behalf of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency. The first involves a 45-day undertaking from Yell to Unst, while the second comprises a 90-day venture covering a large area north of Lerwick.

Two company vessels, Icebeam and Seabeam, are being used to provide high resolution multibeam surveys of seabed topography for updating existing nautical charts.
