Swedish hydrographic survey expert, MMT, has signed a four year framework agreement with the Dutch electricity company, TenneT.
The framework agreement runs from 2016 to 2020 and will involve surveying the electrical grid connection of German offshore windfarms in the Northern Sea and the country's onshore extra high voltage transmission network.
Stefan Eliasson, MMT´s CEO, said: “We have worked for TenneT for many years and this contract award is a great acknowledgment on the services we previously have provided to them. We have now included a wide range of vessels such as Stril Explorer, Franklin, SeaBeam and chartered options and together with our team of marine survey experts, we are offering a complete set-up for TenneT’s marine survey projects within this framework.“
The work will be conducted with MMT’s ROV and survey vessels Franklin and IceBeam and nearshore vessel SeaBeam.
