‘New’ Jotron AS

(Norway) The Jotron Group is merging its Norwegian companies Jotron AS, Jotron Phontech AS, and Jotron SatCom AS to form the new company Jotron AS.

Kongsberg Maritime has, as previously announced by the two companies in March, already acquired 100% of the shares in Jotron Consultas AS.

“This merger and the sales of Jotron Consultas AS, will allow Jotron to fully focus on our core businesses; communication products and systems for maritime, land and air applications”, said Magnus Vold, managing director of the ‘new’ Jotron AS,

Jotron AS will after Following the merger, Jotron AS have annual turnover of 305 MNOK and 150 employees. It will be organised to focus on two market segments, Maritime & Energy and Air Traffic Control (ATC) & Coastal Communication.

The new organization will officially take affect 1 July 2012.
