Ashtead hires new MidEast gen manager

International subsea rental equipment company Ashtead Technology, which is based in the UK, has appointed Scott Stephen to head up its Middle East business from Abu Dhabi.

Stephen has been with the company for five years and already has a few senior positions under his belt. He will help the company with its growth plans across key offshore energy markets, the company says, with underwater survey, mechanical solutions and asset integrity challenges.

The company has three major focuses – survey and robotics; mechanical solutions; and asset integrity – and provides technology for installation, inspection and maintenance and decomissioning offshore energy infrastructure.
