IADC Young Author Award at WODCON
The IADC Young Author Award will be presented at the World Dredging Congress and Exposition (WODCON) this June in Miami, Florida USA.
The annual Award is given to stimulate the promotion of new ideas and to encourage young people working in the dredging industry and related fields.
René Kolman, secretary general of the International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) will give the Award to the winner on the last day of WODCON on 17 June, 2016. The winner will receive a prize of €1,000, a certificate of recognition and a small sculpture.
Each year at selected conferences, the IADC grants awards for the best papers written by authors younger than 35 years of age. The Conference Paper Committee is asked to recommend a prize winner whose paper makes a significant contribution to the literature on dredging and related fields.
