Interocean targets global offshore wind growth
Interocean Marine Services is expanding its services to the offshore renewables market with a new Master Services Agreement with JERA Nex bp across its windfarms.
Mobilising from Aberdeen, Interocean will deliver marine consultancy, assurance and operational support services to strengthen offshore wind vessel operations within JERA Nex bp’s international renewable energy portfolio.

Integrated services
The agreement will see Interocean provide an integrated range of marine engineering and operational services, including vessel assurance, offshore operations support, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) consultancy and emergency response capabilities.
Specialist support will also cover rig moves, tanker off-take operations and wider marine assurance requirements associated with large-scale offshore wind developments.
The contract supports the partnership of JERA Nex bp, a joint venture formed in 2025 between global power generation company JERA and energy major bp.
By drawing on Interocean’s Aberdeen-based capabilities, the agreement provides scalable marine engineering and vessel operations support to underpin the safe and efficient execution of the partnership’s offshore wind projects worldwide.
Interocean is building on its offshore wind portfolio. In February 2025, it was awarded a three-year contract to deliver marine vetting and assurance for bp and EnBW’s offshore wind projects, Morgan, Mona and Morven.
