Cox 350 V8 diesel outboard added to portfolio
UK marine engine builder Cox Marine has added its latest diesel outboard to its product line-up, having achieved EPA Tier III approval.
The engine is a 350hp variant of its V8 diesel outboard architecture, Cox says, and is now ready to go for commercial and recreational applications.
It meets stringent (but evolving) emissions standards set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, which has given the green light to Cox Marine to begin production.
Cox Marine CEO Gavin Wesson calls the 350 V8 a ’game changer for the marine industry’. offering greater fuel efficiency, power, safety and optimal weight.
“It efficiently powers high-displacement vessels across both recreational and commercial sectors,” he said.
