Kongsberg wins contract for 34 thrusters

The thrusters are for a range of international tug projects, a spokesperson said, across power outputs ranging from 1765kW to 2525kW, with bollard pull of between 60 and 85 tons.

Sanmar believes in long relationships, and is known for its many builds of vessels designed by Canadian naval architect Robert Allan. To date it has delivered more than 300 tugs worldwide, over five decades.
