This acquisition marks a new chapter for Ruth Lee, already known for its high-quality rescue manikins used in safety and health training.

“We are thrilled to join forces with the Protect Medical Group,” said Paul McDonnell, managing director of Ruth Lee Ltd.

“This partnership positions us perfectly to leverage new synergies and expand our safety training equipment globally. With the imminent launch of our RL360 Mixed Reality technology, the timing couldn’t be better.”

Industry expertise

Mr McDonnell added that joining the Protect Medical Group reinforces Ruth Lee’s position as a leader in safety training, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation while expanding its reach in the global safety equipment market.

By becoming part of Protect Medical Group, which also includes top European brands like Spencer, PAX and Söhngen, Ruth Lee Ltd will gain access to a wealth of industry expertise.

This strategic partnership looks set to enhance the company’s safety equipment offerings and open up new opportunities in emerging markets.

The acquisition comes as Ruth Lee Ltd celebrates its 30th anniversary, a significant milestone in its history of producing cutting-edge training equipment for fire, military and rescue professionals.

Mr McDonnell said that the company’s headquarters will remain in North Wales, with continued focus on delivering the same high standards of service and expertise.

”Our commitment to innovation and excellence remains stronger than ever and we are excited to embark on this new journey as part of the Protect Medical Group. Together, we will continue to set the standard for quality, reliability, and innovation in the training and safety sectors,” he said.
